| An Ode to Emo Poetry |
Emo poetry...
It is written in lockers, on desks, and on bathroom stalls, It bears the souls of the emos who walk through our halls. Whether you're in class or just going to pee, It is written or carved there for all to see.
It talks about anything from love to broken hearts, From death to waiting for life to start. From revenge to darkness and even to pain, They write their hearts out before going insane.
Although all poems may seem the same, The differance lies with the anonymous name. All emos are special, though it's hard to believe, Because they all look alike from their shoe to their sleeve.
Though it may not rhyme or make any sense, Whether it's written in past or present tense, Poetry to anyone is meaningful and inspiring, And rhyming itself can be very tirng.
Life for an emo is difficult enough, They're not indivduals, funny, or tough. They have to find a place to let go of it all, Even if that place is a bathroom stall. |
